Ever wonder what the difference is between self-development and having spiritual awareness? Well, you’re in luck — I’ve been wanting to jam on this topic for quite some time now.
When I sat in meditation recently, it really crystallized the idea of spiritual awareness versus self-development. And those two things are completely different!
Spiritual awareness is having an awareness of the divine awareness of subtle energy. It’s knowing that we are protected by God/The Universe/ Life Force. That there is something more than just this 3D reality that we exist in. There is something so much greater than our triggers and our wounds and our ruptures. There is an infinite intelligence that we can tap into at any minute of the day in order to liberate ourselves from some of the pain and suffering and struggling that we exist now. This is also called living in 5D consciousness.
Self-development is really working with the body, developing the mind, working with our ruptures and wounds, and everything that's happening in the 3D physical world.
And in order to tap into our higher self, we have to work on both being spiritually aware AND developing our human selves.
But what I see happening often we get unbalanced between 5D vs 3D states of consciousness.
We can either be too identified with the body and physical reality or get lost in space visiting aliens and preaching only love n’ light (aka. Spiritually bypassing) — ya feel me?
