I get a lot of questions about how I’ve built my business so big so quickly, and to be honest, my secret sauce is pretty simple – it’s using my intuition and visceral intelligence to make decisions and guide me as an entrepreneur.

I know that we are a society that loves to over-consume allll the information and think our way out of everything, but you can’t always use logic and reason to strategize and build your business in the way that feels most aligned for you. Sometimes the “standards” just won’t work for you or your business. Sure, it can be easier to fall in line and follow someone else’s vision or methods, but at the end of the day, it’s YOUR business and you need to be the one calling the shots.

Here’s how to use your intuition and visceral intelligence to make business decisions:

  1. 1. Get quiet and grounded.
  2. 2. Feel into the issue or decision you are trying to make. Really give yourself some time to connect with it via your heart space, not your mind (think of this almost as meditation, where you are trying to access something much deeper than your fearful ego’s constant thoughts).
  3. 3. Reflect on your options and pay attention to how they make you feel in your body and how you viscerally react to them. In my experience, when something is a YES in my body, it feels light and expansive. If it’s a no, it feels heavy and constricted. (It’s also important to remember that something can be a yes AND be scary at the same time.)

Go from there, and start to see how using your intuition and deep inner wisdom to guide you will steer you to exactly where you need to be.
